Business development specialist

Job Summary

 We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving company growth through strategic outreach and partnerships. This role requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to meet targets in a fast-paced environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and lead generation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Present and promote company services to prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create effective growth strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate terms and close deals that align with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and pipeline progress in CRM tools.
  • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry conferences.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or client relations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of market research, lead generation, and sales processes.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce) and MS Office tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Equipment for Remote Staff

  • Computer or Laptop – Minimum 8GB RAM and reliable processor (i5 or higher).
  • Stable Internet Connection – Minimum 20 Mbps with a backup connection (e.g., mobile hotspot).
  • Noise-Cancelling Headset – For clear client calls and online meetings.
  • External Webcam – For virtual presentations and video calls.
  • Backup Power Source – UPS or power bank to avoid disruptions.
