IT/Tech Support

Job Summary

 We are seeking a skilled IT / Tech Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for computer systems, software, and hardware across our organization. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot issues, maintain system performance, and ensure smooth technology operations for staff and clients. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or remote access.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and peripheral device issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and network devices.
  • Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with IT-related projects and technology upgrades.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and procedures for reference.
  • Train staff on software usage, system updates, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to optimize infrastructure and resolve escalated issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or system administration.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows, macOS, and mobile device platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, remote tools, and security protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or in-office environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Required Equipment

  • Computer or Laptop – Minimum 8GB RAM and reliable processor (i5 or higher).
  • Stable Internet Connection – Minimum 20 Mbps download speed with backup option.
  • Noise-Cancelling Headset – For clear communication with staff and clients.
  • External Webcam – For remote meetings, training, and troubleshooting sessions.
  • Backup Power Source – UPS or power bank to prevent workflow interruptions.
