Medical Scribe

 We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Medical Scribe to assist healthcare providers by accurately documenting patient encounters in real time. The ideal candidate will possess excellent listening, typing, and multitasking skills and be familiar with medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems. This role is essential in improving provider efficiency and ensuring precise, timely documentation. 

• Accurately document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, diagnoses, and treatment plans during patient encounters.
• Input data into the electronic health record (EHR) system under the direction of healthcare providers.
• Review and update patient charts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of patient records and adhere to HIPAA compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of referrals, prescriptions, and other medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to ensure clear and concise record-keeping.
• Stay informed on medical terminology, abbreviations, and clinical workflow.
• Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling follow-ups or updating patient data when needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or coursework in healthcare, biology, nursing, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience as a medical scribe, transcriptionist, or in a clinical setting is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent typing speed and accuracy (minimum 60 wpm preferred).
• Proficient in EHR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Exceptional listening, comprehension, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality.

• Computer or Laptop – Minimum 8GB RAM and i5 processor or higher.
• Stable Internet Connection – At least 20 Mbps download speed.
• Noise-Cancelling Headset – For clear communication during virtual sessions.
• External Webcam – For meetings, training, and provider communication.
• Backup Power Source – UPS or power bank to prevent workflow interruptions
