Telehealth Shitf Manager

Job Summary

 We are seeking a skilled Telehealth Shift Manager to oversee daily operations of our remote telehealth team. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth workflow, monitor staff performance, and maintain high-quality patient care standards during assigned shifts. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills in a remote healthcare environment. 

Responsibilities

  • Supervise telehealth staff during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to schedules and protocols.
  • Monitor patient interactions and maintain quality standards for telehealth consultations.
  • Manage real-time issues, escalations, and workflow disruptions.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Coordinate with other managers and departments to optimize operations.
  • Prepare shift reports and communicate key metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and telehealth regulations.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and team training programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in telehealth, clinical operations, or healthcare management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency with telehealth platforms, EHR systems, and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and telehealth compliance standards.

Required Equipment

  • Computer or Laptop – Minimum 8GB RAM, i5 processor or higher.
  • Stable Internet Connection – Minimum 20 Mbps download speed with backup option.
  • Noise-Cancelling Headset – For clear team and patient communication.
  • External Webcam – For virtual meetings, team check-ins, and patient consultations.
  • Backup Power Source – UPS or power bank to prevent workflow interruptions
